| Endless Possibilities Enterprises, LLC, was established in May of 2002 by owner, Gregg Schaafsman. Because Gregg had experience with computer networks, cabinet making, roofing, and PC repair, he was uncertain what name would best apply to the work he could perform, so he decided to call it Endless Possibilities Enterprises, LLC. At first, home remodeling and some computer related jobs came his way. By end of 2003, the majority of work was home remodeling. Early in 2004, Dale Shrank, Gregg's daughters' swim coach, asked Gregg to build four storage bins for pool equipment at the local high school. Dale also wanted the bins to be able to support people sitting on them. Having been around swimming pools most of his life, Gregg knew that the environment would be harsh. The high humidity, chlorine, water, and usage by students would all require a rather robust design if the bins were going to last any length of time. |
Although the first benches were rather basic, they were very robust. They are still in use today. To make the
benches more appealing, Gregg started to refine the look by adding aluminum corners to hide the ends of the
plastic shell. A rubber seal and hidden fasteners were developed to provide a much cleaner look. Gas struts
were added to aid in opening and closing the lids. Locks were introduced to provide secure storage of valuable
items. Engraving was introduced to enhance the appearance. Fund raising capabilities were introduced.
